For Dig Mitchelville, we created a marketing campaign that built anticipation for a community dig at historic Mitchelville Freedom Park. The event brought together community volunteers who ended up uncovering over 200 artifacts from America's first self-governed town of formerly enslaved people.
Our pre-event marketing captured both the thrill of discovery and the profound historical significance of the site. From volunteer recruitment materials to social media campaigns, every piece was designed to help people understand they weren't just signing up to dig in the dirt—they were volunteering to uncover pieces of American freedom.
